Certification schemes are developed in accordance with the quality manual of the certification body C-WT, s.r.o and in accordance with the requirements of standard STN EN ISO / IEC 17024: 2013.
Certification procedure:
Qualification testing of welders according to standard STN EN ISO 9606-1: 2018
The applicant applies for certification by completing form AJ_FO 12 Application for certification of welding and brazing personnel. The application must be accompanied by:
- valid welding license proving basic welding skill
- or a proof of the valid welding course for the welding technology and the group of materials
- a valid welder certificate according to one of the mentioned standards, if the recertification is concerned
The certificate can only be issued to a person who signs the form AJ_FO 15B Agreement and conditions for the use of the certificate.
The welder’s certificate is valid for 2 years and can be extended before this period expires.
Plastics welding personnel according to standard STN EN 13067: 2020
The applicant applies for certification by completing form FO 12. The application must be accompanied by one of the following documents:
- education: full secondary vocational school – plastic processor
- employer’s confirmation of practice as a plastics welder (at least 2 years)
- confirmation of the completion of the theoretical and practical training course in the field of plastic welding in range of at least 40 hours
The certificate can only be issued to a person who signs the form FO 15.
The welder’s certificate is valid for 2 years and can be extended before this period expires.
Qualification testing of brazers and brazing operators according to standard STN EN ISO 13585: 2012
The applicant applies for certification by completing form FO 12. The application must be accompanied by one of the following documents:
- employer’s confirmation of brazing practice
- specified brazing process (BPS)
- confirmation of completion of the prescribed training in range of at least 40 hours
The certificate can only be issued to a person who signs the form FO 15.
The certificate of brazer has a validity of 3 years and can be extended before this time.
Welding operators and weld setters for mechanized and automatic welding STN EN ISO 14732: 2014
The welding operator is the person who manages or adjusts any welding parameters for mechanized or automated welding.
Weld setter is the person who arranges welding equipment for mechanized or automated welding.
The applicant applies for certification by completing form FO 12. The application must be accompanied by:
- welding procedure specification (WPS) or preliminary welding procedure specification (pWPS)
- proof of health
- the curriculum of the theoretical and practical preparation of the applicant in range of at least 20 hours for theoretical preparation and 20 hours for practical preparation at the welding machine for which is the certification sought
The certificate can only be issued to a person who signs the form FO 15.
The certificate has a validity of 3 years and can be extended before this time.
